VAYA is a rock band from Switzerland that is currently based in Canada. Vaya’s musical sound is defined by a “sensual female voice supported by psychedelic guitar vibes and robust percussions.”
WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION OF YOUR BANDMATES WHEN YOU MET?
I am happy that all persons that crossed my project from the start just jumped into my Universe without asking any questions! That is the magical part of music.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY PLAYING SHOWS?
I had pleasure playing for the Bout festival in Toronto. The place sounds great and the public is really eclectic. At the same time we were able to come and support the other bands for the whole festival. That was a great discovery and a great time!
WHAT ARTIST WOULD BE YOUR DREAM COLLABORATION?
Can I dream about someone that is dead? I would say Beethoven just to feel the powerful vibes working with his genius brain.
WHAT SONG ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF AND WHY?
All of them. They are all supporting each other as human being, you know. How will you like the dark color if you do not have any light one?
What are your non-musical influences?
I would say 99% of pop music. I like to hear it on the radio but no color of it is in my music (or I am not aware of it).

Be patient young tiger!
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR THE YEAR?
Aaah is it really possible to have plans? 😀 Well we hope to finish the post production (physical version) of this second opus we started in 2018. And we would like to start working on the live show; it is a real challenge!
